Nungwi and Kendwa are world-renowned for having non-tidal beaches, meaning you can swim in the ocean comfortably all day without the water receding for hundreds of meters as it does on the east coast. Is this tour suitable for honeymooners and romantic getaways? Absolutely. This itinerary is tailored specifically for luxury seekers, honeymooners, and couples, featuring private transfers, luxury 5-star oceanfront suites, a sunset dhow cruise, and a private candlelit beach dinner. Are dietary restrictions accommodated for meals? Yes, all resorts and private catering partners accommodate vegetarian, vegan, halal, gluten-free, and seafood allergy requests with advance notice. What is the best time of year for a Zanzibar beach holiday? Zanzibar is fantastic year-round, but the driest and most pleasant months are June through October and December through March. Can this itinerary be combined with a mainland Tanzania safari or mountain climb? Yes, this 6-day holiday is frequently booked as a post-trek relaxation extension following a Mount Kilimanjaro climb or a Northern Circuit wildlife safari. Are internal transfers in Zanzibar included? Yes, all transfers—including airport pickups/drop-offs, hotel transfers between Stone Town and the beach, and excursion transport—are provided in private, air-conditioned luxury vehicles. What should I wear when visiting Stone Town? Zanzibar has a predominantly Muslim culture. While swimwear and shorts are fine at beach resorts, visitors in Stone Town and local villages should dress modestly, covering shoulders and knees. Are water sports activities included? Snorkeling at Mnemba Atoll is fully included. Additional activities like scuba diving, kitesurfing, jet-skiing, or paddleboarding can be arranged directly through your resort.
